President Donald Trump deleted all is tweets that support Luther Strange, the candidate he supported during the Senate race to fill the vacancy left by Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
According to CNN’s Jim Acosta, “multiple White House sources” have revealed to the network’s White House crew that the president was “embarrassed and pissed” about Strange’s loss to Roy Moore, a former Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court who lost removed from his position for ignoring a federal court’s order to remove a monument of the Ten Commandments from the Alabama Judicial Building.
CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins said that Trump felt that Strange was a “Low-energy” candidate and only threw his support behind him because he forced to by the GOP.
Trump blames Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) for spending so much money and time in supporting Strange for the Senate. H also feels betrayed by Steve Bannon, the former White House political strategist who openly supported Moore.
Roy Moore is also known for his comments about the 9/11 terrorists attacks, which he claims were retribution against America for its acceptance of homosexuality.
