While visiting the Latah County Fair in September, Idaho State Sen. Dan Foreman was caught on camera yelling at a constituent, whom he called a “liberal nut-tard.”
According to a report by the Moscow-Pullman Daily News, the Republican Sen. was approached by a constituent who complained about the way he was doing his job. Foreman became furious and began yelling and berating him for scrutinizing his work.
The Latah County Sherrif’s Department intervened and caught the incident on a body camera.
“This guy says I’m not doing my job, and he’s lecturing me on the Constitution,” Foreman said.
Foreman was told to move on by the officer and he did, but not before calling the man a “liberal nut-tard” and to “go to hell, you son of a b#tch.”
During an interview with the Moscow-Pullman Daily, Foreman not only refused to apologize for insulting his constituent, but he also claimed the man was being “unnecessarily rude,” and he was being treated badly at the fair because he was a Republican.
“I would like to know why the Republicans get treated differently than the Democrats by the county fair,” he said. “I want a personal apology for how we were treated.”
